Bronx Aerospace High School

"Where your dreams take flight as we build the next generation of engineers through our project-based learning CTE program."

We provide students with a unique blend of academics and aviation training. Students choose between three focuses: pilot preparation, air traffic control preparation or college preparation. Students may receive flight and air traffic control training in our state-of-the-art flight simulator.

Principal's Message

Exciting things are happening at Bronx Aerospace High School!

Bronx Aerospace High School is a career technical education school with a concentration in New York State approved Pre Engineering program. Our students are provided career awareness and preparation opportunities through their academic and technical knowledge and work-related skills necessary to succeed in postsecondary education, training, and employment.

Students can receive the CTE-endorsed diploma by the time they graduate high school. To obtain the CTE-endorsed diploma, students must take and pass the course sequence, which includes Introduction to Engineering, Principles of Engineering, AP Computer Science Principles, and Career and Financial Management. In addition, they must pass the National Technical Assessment (NOCTI) exam that includes a school-based capstone project and a 54-hour complete work-based learning experience.
